This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the AsherSupport help desk and scheduling platform (the “Service”) provided by [Legal Entity] (“AsherSupport,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you and the users you authorize agree to follow this policy.
Purpose
AsherSupport is built to help teams communicate with their customers and manage support and scheduling. This policy exists to keep the Service safe, reliable, and lawful for everyone who relies on it. It defines activities that are not permitted and explains how we enforce these rules.
Prohibited activities
You may not use the Service — and may not permit anyone using your account to use the Service — to do any of the following:
- Illegal content or activity. Engage in, promote, or facilitate any activity that violates applicable law, or store or transmit content that is unlawful.
- Spam or unsolicited messaging. Send spam or bulk unsolicited messages through the help desk, or use the Service to deliver communications in violation of anti-spam or electronic-messaging laws.
- Malware and phishing. Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code, or conduct phishing or other attempts to deceive people into revealing credentials or sensitive information.
- Harassment and abusive content. Transmit content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, or abusive, or that promotes violence or discrimination.
- Intellectual-property infringement. Infringe the copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights of others.
- Privacy violations. Violate the privacy rights of others, or collect, store, or disclose personal information without a lawful basis or the necessary consent.
- Security attacks. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or related systems, or interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service, its infrastructure, or other users.
- Reverse engineering. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Circumventing limits. Bypass or attempt to circumvent usage limits, quotas, rate limits, or access controls.
- Unauthorized reselling. Resell, sublicense, or otherwise make the Service available to third parties without our authorization.
- Unlawful storage of others’ data. Use the Service to store or process other people’s data unlawfully or in violation of any agreement or obligation you owe to them.
Responsibility for your users and content
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including the conduct of the agents, administrators, and end users you authorize, and for the content you and they submit, transmit, or store through the Service. You must ensure that your use of the Service — and the content you place in it — complies with this policy and with applicable law.
Enforcement
If we determine that you or a user of your account has violated this policy, we may take action appropriate to the severity of the violation, including issuing a warning, removing offending content, suspending access to affected features or accounts, or terminating your account. Where a violation poses an immediate risk to the Service or others, we may act without prior notice.
We may also cooperate with law enforcement and other authorities, and disclose information as required by law, in response to a violation of this policy or unlawful activity.
Reporting abuse
If you become aware of any violation of this policy — including spam, abuse, security issues, or infringing content transmitted through the Service — please report it to [abuse@ashersupport.com]. We investigate reports of abuse and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. This policy is governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction].
